Symptoms

The touchpad and keyboard do not work.

Affected Platforms:

Cause

A controller is reporting the wrong state (tablet mode) to the BIOS and causing the keyboard and touchpad to be disabled.

Resolution

    Updating to BIOS version 1.2.1 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, reference BIOS Update Guide.
