Instructions

  1. This is an offline procedure because the array has to be power cycled. Do a health check on the array, create, and download a diagnostic file for reference.
  2. Shut down the array using the Service menu
  3. Wait for the array to completely power down. (This can take up to 30 minutes.)
  4. Move and recable the DAEs as required.
  5. Power up the array.
  6. Check in the Unity user interface using the Service menu if all changes have been recognized. (If not stop here and open a support call with Dell Technologies Support.)
  7. Return the array to production use.
