proxy_selection_algorithm パラメーターは、/usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_data/prefs/mcserver.xmlを使用して構成されます。

3つの値があります。

hot_add_preferred
  • MCSは、ホットアド機能に基づいてプロキシを優先して選択します。見つからない場合、MCSはホットアド機能のないプロキシの使用にフォールバックします。これはデフォルトの設定です。
 
hot_add_only
  • MCSは、ホットアド機能に基づいてプロキシのみを使用します。見つからない場合、MCSはバックアップまたはリストア処理を一時停止し、ホットアド対応プロキシが使用可能になるまで待機します。
 
ignore_associated_datastores
  • この設定により、選択プロセス中に既知のプロキシ データストアの関連づけが無視されます。これにより、MCSは使用可能なプロキシのより大きなプールから選択できます。hot_add_preferred設定と同様に、ホットアド機能を備えたプロキシは、ホットアド機能のないプロキシよりも優先されます。ただし、ホットアド対応プロキシが見つからない場合、MCSはホットアド機能のないプロキシの使用にフォールバックします。
