Avamar - Cluster Configuration tool missing on cluster nodes

Symptoms
Avamar Windows Client is installed on a cluster node, however, the "Avamar cluster configuration tool" shortcut is missing from the desktop.
More investigation shows that the file "C:\Program Files\avs\bin\AvamarClusterConfiguration.exe" is missing.
Cause
Avamar Client does not properly detect that the node is part of a cluster.
The client was not part of a cluster when the client was installed.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, try to reinstall the client since it may have been installed before the cluster was configured.
To force the installation, perform the following steps:
- Download the Avamar Windows client to the local drive.
- Open an elevated command prompt as administrator.
- Change into the directory where the customer located the file AvamarWindowsClient-version.msi and run the command below using the correct name of the Microsoft Installer (MSI) package.
msiexec.exe /i AvamarWindowsClient-version.msi WIN_CLUSTER_DETECTED=1
