Instructions

In de onderstaande procedure wordt beschreven hoe u een ScaleIO | VxFlexOS | PowerFlex hyper-converged systeem.

Voorwaarden:    
Alle VM's die worden gebruikt (ScaleIO | VxFlexOS | PowerFlex)-storage moet worden afgesloten.

Stappen voor afsluiten:      

  1. Controleer de activiteit van clients/SDC's:

Systeemactiviteit en databeschikbaarheid zijn ook te zien in de GUI:      

Opmerking: Een indicatie dat het systeem inactief en gezond is, is nul IOPS/nul bytes per seconde en alle capaciteit beschermd.

Meer dan 3,5 presentatieserver
Controleer de gemarkeerde gebieden om er zeker van te zijn dat IOPS op 0 staat.

  1. Schakel het beschermingsdomein in met behulp van CLI of GUI:     

Opmerking: Het deactiveren van een beschermingsdomein zal ertoe leiden dat alle IOPS stoppen (downtime vereist).

CLI:      

ScaleIO-10-xxx-xxx-8:~ # scli --inactivate_protection_domain --protection_domain_name PD00

Please wait for the operational state of the Protection Domain to become 'Inactive'

 

GUI:     

Klik met de rechtermuisknop op Protection Domain (in backed section) > kies 'Inactivate Protection Domain'. Bevestig de bewerking met wachtwoord.
 
GUI geeft aan dat Protection Domain wordt gedeactiveerd

Meer dan 3,5 presentatieservers:

Klik op Protection Domains -> Klik op het selectievakje om de beschermingsdomeinen te selecteren die zijn gekoppeld aan het systeem dat wordt uitgeschakeld. -> klik op Meer > klik op Inactivate
Powerflex-configuratie geeft aan dat Beschermingsdomeinen worden uitgeschakeld

Bevestig dat u een beschermingsdomein wilt inactiveren door het wachtwoord in te voeren -> klik op INACTIVATE

Protection Domain bevestigen gedeactiveerd
 
  1. Valideren dat Protection Domain is gedeactiveerd:      
ScaleIO-10-xx-xx-8:~ # scli --query_protection_domain --protection_domain_name PD00 | grep Oper Operational state is Inactive

 

  1. Sluit alle knooppunten/servers fysiek af.

Stappen voor inschakelen:     

  1. Schakel alle servers/knooppunten fysiek in.
  2. Controleer de systeemstatus en controleer of alle ScaleIO-, VxFlexOS- en PowerFlex-systeemonderdelen actief zijn met behulp van CLI of GUI:

       3. Activeer het Beschermingsdomein:

GUI:      

Klik met de rechtermuisknop op Protection Domain (in het gedeelte Backed) -> kies 'Activate Protection Domain'. Bevestig de bewerking met wachtwoord.
 
GUI geeft aan dat Protection Domain wordt geactiveerd

Meer dan 3,5 presentatieservers:

Klik op Protection Domains -> Klik op het selectievakje om de beschermingsdomeinen te selecteren die zijn gekoppeld aan het systeem dat wordt ingeschakeld. -> klik op Meer -> klik op Activeren

  1. Valideer de status Van het Beschermingsdomein:

  1. Controleer de verbindingsstatus van clients/SDC inclusief koppelpunten/applicaties/services.
