Symptoms

NetWorker VMware Protection 整合是透過 vProxy 裝置進行設定。  虛擬機器 （VM） 映射層級備份無法開啟對目標 Data Domain 裝置的會話。  備份工作階段記錄顯示：

YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR:  [NW_BUILD] UUID:VM_MOREF:VM_NAME: ddp_connect_with_config() failed, Hostname: DD_HOSTNAME, Err: 5037-Cannot resolve IP address from Host DD_HOSTNAME_FAILOVER for ip family 0
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR:  [NW_BUILD] UUID:VM_MOREF:VM_NAME: Unable to open session to target device "DD_HOSTNAME".

Cause

此症狀可能是由於：
  • 目標 Data Domain 無法解析。
  • vProxy 和 Data Domain 之間會封鎖所需的埠。

Resolution

請執行下列步驟：
  1. 透過 SSH （系統管理員） 登入 vProxy，並確認 Data Domain 是否可解析 DNS。FQDN、短名稱和 IP 位址應都應正確回應： 
    1. nslookup DataDomain_FQDN
    2. nslookup DataDomain_ShortName
    3. nslookup DataDomain_IPaddress
  1. 如果 Data Domain 無法透過 DNS 解析，及/或錯誤也會顯示DD_HOSTNAME_FAILOVER在 Data Domain 的 vProxy 上新增 /etc/hosts 檔案專案：
注意：名稱應與 NetWorker 中設定的 Data Domain 資源語法相符。容錯移轉別名可附加至相同行，例如： 
10.0.0.10           DataDomain01.domain.com       DataDomain01      DataDomain01-failover.domain.com
  1. 確認 vProxy 可在下列埠到達 Data Domain，解決無法回應的任何埠：22, 111, 131, 161, 2049, 2052
