Symptoms
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator versions 9.3.2 and earlier may report warning or critical events concerning correctable and multi-bit memory errors for a Dual In-Line Memory Module (DIMM) slot.
After system reboot, the integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) reports the DIMM slot with an "OK" status.
OMSA continues to report the previous memory alert state.

Resolution
Dell has implemented BIOS enhancements for DDR4 memory self-healing, Learn more. Some memory errors are resolved after a system reboot and the updated DIMM slot status is displayed correctly in iDRAC. However, OMSA version 9.3.2 and earlier does not report this enhanced memory self-healing status. This invalid memory status can also be reported to monitoring applications that rely on OMSA for status including Dell OpenManage Essentials and OpenManage Suite for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). Upgrade to OMSA 9.4.0 or later when possible to resolve this issue.
