Symptoms

De NetWorker-datazone wordt geconfigureerd met de NetWorker Virtual Edition (NVE)-appliance. De webpagina NetWorker Installation Manager wordt gebruikt om de NVE te upgraden naar NetWorker 19.5.0.x. De NVE-installatieworkflow stopt tijdens de taak "Reconfiguring NetWorker Authc Service Settings (36 of 47)."

De webpagina NetWorker Installation Manager laat het volgende zien:

Cause

De /nsr/authc_config.txt.preserved is niet beschikbaar op het NVE-bestandssysteem. De oorzaak van het ontbrekende bestand is niet bekend.

Resolution

De /nsr/authc_config.txt.preserved kan handmatig opnieuw worden gemaakt op het NVE-bestandssysteem om door te gaan met de NVE-installatieworkflow.

  • Maak verbinding met de NVE met een SSH met het admin-account: ssh admin@MY_NVE 
  • Verifieer met het beheerdersaccount.
  • Overschakelen naar het root-account: sudo su - 
  • Maak de authc_config.txt.preserved in de /nsr-directory.

  • Selecteer de optie "Retry Current Task" op de webpagina NetWorker Installation Manager.
  • De NVE-installatieworkflow gaat door met het upgraden van de configuratie.
