Symptoms

VM 檔案層級還原無法掛接，並顯示錯誤「VM Direct engine is unable to restore the virtual machine < vm-name > on vCenter < vCenter-name.

Cause

PowerProtect Data Manager 無法將備份複本的磁片掛載至目標虛擬機器。  
這主要是因為備份副本包含具有分割區標籤但沒有分割區之未格式化磁片。

Resolution

對目標虛擬機器執行即時存取還原，然後從即時存取虛擬機器複製必要的檔案或資料夾。
允許日後相同虛擬機器的檔案層級還原，請執行以下任一步驟;
  • 從未格式化的磁片上取下分割區標籤。
  • 卸下未格式化的磁片本身。 
或者，upgrade PPDM 和所有保護引擎都升級到版本 19.13。
