VMware ESXi 8.0 U3 PSOD: #PF Exception 14 in world lpfc_do_work

Cause
PowerPath/VE does not support the Fabric Performance Impact Notification (FPIN) feature.
PowerPath/VE 8.2 was built using VMware PSASDK 8.0 U1 which does not contain the vmk_PsaStorMPPluginHandleLinkEvent handleLinkEvent reference in the vmk_PsaStorMPPluginSpecific Struct.

Resolution
Workaround: Disable support for the Fabric Performance Impact Notification (FPIN) feature. The command to do this can be found in the VMware ESXi 8.0 U3 Release Notes.
Use the command esxcli storage fpin info set -e=false to deactivate the Fabric Performance Impact Notification (FPIN). If the FPIN feature is disabled, the drivers still report FPIN events. However the FPIN kernel module rejects these events, so they are not sent to vodb or PSA. The command saves the FPIN activation to both ConfigStore and the VMkernel System Interface Shell and persists across ESXi reboots.
