Cause
For USB and BT headsets: Waves audio enhancement conflicts with the noise cancellation feature from USB and BT headset. The latest audio driver removes Waves audio enhancement and resolves the problem.
- Waves APO (old) audio effect applied on external digital end-point device (USB headset), the audio enhancement also affects noise and background vocals.
- Waves APO (new) has disabled the audio enhancement on digital end-point audio device (no audio enhancement on those devices).
For 3.5mm headsets: Waves audio enhancement may conflict with the noise cancellation feature from the 3.5mm headset.
Resolution
For USB and BT headsets: Update the audio driver to the latest version which is packaged Waves APO with removing digital end-point device (USB/BT) effect from the version and afterward. And all D13.5 audio drivers are applied to the change when released.
- D13 Luxor Wave APO version: v.12.2.0.846, which was released in March 2024.
- D13.5 Luxor MLK Wave APO version: v.13.2.0.15648, which was released in February 2024.
