CD, DVD, or Blu-ray drive or disk issues can be caused due to incompatible disks, faulty disks, corrupt registry entry, drive hardware failure, and so on.
NOTE:
- Before following the troubleshooting steps using the links below, ensure that multiple disks do not work in the optical drive. If only one CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disk is causing a problem, it is an issue with the disk and not the drive.
