For NetWorker, there are two ways to get the software Serial ID (SWID).

1) How to get SWID in NMC:
  • In the NetWorker Management Console: NMC -> Server -> Server Properties -> Licensing -> CLP SWID
NMC method

2) How to get SWID in the License file:
  • On Linux Server: /nsr/lic/dpa.lic
  • On Windows Server: C:\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\nsr\lic\dpa.lic
  • On NMC: NMC -> Server -> Server Properties -> Licensing -> CLP license text

Using a text editor such as Notepad, open your NetWorker license file and search for SWID or SoftwareId
