How to Install Adobe Products from Dell

Affected Products:

• Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024
• Adobe Acrobat Standard
• Adobe Express Premium
• Adobe Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements

Affected Operating Systems:

Adobe Acrobat that is purchased through Dell contains a redemption code for a:

• A Three-year term licenses (non-subscription)
  • Reference the table below for Redemption instructions
• Subscription license
  • Download and activate the software on two computers.
    • Software can only be used on one computer at a time.
  • The license expires when the subscription ends.

Subscription

New Install

A subscription license of Adobe Acrobat can be purchased at Dell:

• At the point of sale (POS) of a Dell computer
• After point of sale (APOS) of a Dell computer

POS

To install the product:

1. Open Dell Optimizer or Dell Purchased Apps
   • Open Dell Optimizer, then select the Dell Purchased Apps tab and install application
     Or,
   • Open Dell Purchased Apps, then install application
2. Locate Adobe Acrobat [VERSION] and Copy the Dell provided Product Key in Notepad or Word as the Product Key is needed for installation.
   Note: [VERSION] = Type of Adobe Acrobat product
   Warning: Adobe references the product key as a redemption code.
3. Click Redeem to automatically go to https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/authorize/v1?client_id=redemption_ui_client&scope=AdobeID%2Copenid&state=%7B%22ac%22%3A%22redeem.adobe.com%22%7D&el=true&ctx_id=join_redeem_acrobat&idp_flow=create_account&sign_up_sso=true&locale=&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fredeem.adobe.com%2Facrobat .
4. Sign in or Create an Account with Adobe.
   Note:

   • For account help, reference Solve Adobe Account Sign-in Issues .
   • If this is the first time using an Adobe product, click Create an account.
   • Dell is unable to assist with third-party (Adobe) account issues. Contact the vendor for further assistance.
5. Enter your Adobe Acrobat Product Key (step 2) and then click Redeem Code.
   Warning: The Adobe Acrobat Product Key (step 2) can only be used once.
6. Optionally add a payment method.
7. Click Get Started to download Adobe_DC_Setup.exe.
8. On Download, click Adobe_DC_Setup.exe.
9. In the installation UI, click Continue.
10. Optionally install Adobe Genuine Service (AGS) and then click Continue.
11. On installation, Adobe Acrobat opens automatically.

APOS

1. Go to My Account.
2. Sign in to your Dell My Account using the email address used at the time of purchase or the address used to assign your software licenses. For questions about creating or updating a My Account login, see the My Account FAQ.
3. Click Software Licenses and Subscriptions on the menu and choose Software Licenses.
   If you are having trouble finding your order or logging into My Account, contact Dell support at the following link: Contact Order Support.
4. Under the Product section, click Adobe Acrobat [VERSION][Duration].
   Note:

   • [VERSION] = Type of Adobe Acrobat product
   • [DURATION] = Length of subscription
5. Copy the Adobe Acrobat License Key.
   Warning: Adobe references the license key as a redemption code.
6. Go to https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/authorize/v1?client_id=redemption_ui_client&scope=AdobeID%2Copenid&state=%7B%22ac%22%3A%22redeem.adobe.com%22%7D&el=true&ctx_id=join_redeem_acrobat&idp_flow=create_account&sign_up_sso=true&locale=&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fredeem.adobe.com%2Facrobat .
7. Sign in or Create an Account with Adobe.

Reinstall

To reinstall a subscription license, you must:

• Have an active subscription license for Adobe Acrobat.
• Have access to your Adobe ID account.

To install the product:

1. Go to https://account.adobe.com/ .
2. Sign in with your Adobe ID email address and then click Continue.
   Note:

   • For account help, reference Solve Adobe Account Sign-in Issues .
   • Dell is unable to assist with third-party (Adobe) account issues. Contact the vendor for further assistance.
3. Enter your Adobe ID Password and then click Continue.
4. Under the Overview tab, click Access your apps and services.
5. In the upper right, click Get Acrobat DC desktop to download Adobe_DC_Setup.exe.
6. On download, double-click Adobe_DC_Setup.exe.
7. In the installation UI, click Continue.
8. Optionally install Adobe Genuine Service (AGS) and then click Continue.
9. On installation, Adobe Acrobat opens automatically.
