現象

カスケードSRDF環境では、DEV,EXPANDコマンドはR21->R2リンク ステータスとR2デバイス サイズを無視し、拡張要求を送信します。これにより、次のメッセージで拡張エラーが発生します。        
                                             
SCF0463Eデバイスsymdv# srdfgrpがSymmetrix Aborted Expansionにより拡張に失敗しました        
                                

原因

これは、ソフトウェアの問題が原因で発生します。

解決方法

恒久対策： 
  • Mainframe Enablers 8.5では、PTF SF85096が問題を修正するために開発されました。Dellオンライン サポートからダウンロードできます。
  • Mainframe Enablers 8.4では、PTF SF84152が 問題を修正するために開発されました。Dellオンライン サポートからダウンロードできます。
  • Mainframe Enablers 8.3では、PTF SF83204が問題を修正するために開発されました。Dellオンライン サポートからダウンロードできます。

Device symdv# [RDFG srdfgrp] failed expansion due to reason
Cause
The indicated device cannot be expanded due to the reason described in reason. If the failing device is in an SRDF relationship with the device specified in your DEV,EXPAND command, it is shown as symdv# RDFG srdfgrp where srdfgrp is the SRDF group of the device.
