現象

在串聯式 SRDF 環境中，DEV、EXPAND 命令會忽略 R21->R2 連結狀態和 R2 裝置大小，並傳送擴充要求，導致擴充失敗並顯示訊息：        
                                             
SCF0463E 裝置 symdv# srdfgrp 因 Symmetrix 中止擴充而無法擴充        
                                

原因

這是由軟體問題所造成。

解決方法

永久修正： 
  • 針對 Mainframe Enablers 8.5，已開發 PTF SF85096來修正問題。可從 Dell 線上支援下載。
  • 針對 Mainframe Enablers 8.4，已開發 PTF SF84152 來修正問題。可從 Dell 線上支援下載。
  • 針對 Mainframe Enablers 8.3，已開發 PTF SF83204來修正問題。可從 Dell 線上支援下載。

Device symdv# [RDFG srdfgrp] failed expansion due to reason
Cause
The indicated device cannot be expanded due to the reason described in reason. If the failing device is in an SRDF relationship with the device specified in your DEV,EXPAND command, it is shown as symdv# RDFG srdfgrp where srdfgrp is the SRDF group of the device.
