現象

TGT内のいずれかのPowerMaxシステムがオフラインの場合、QUERY TGT、STATUS、DEVICEコマンドはRC=0を返します。   
  
QUERY VDGコマンドは、VDGにPowerMaxシステムから削除されたデバイスが含まれている場合、RC=0を返します。    

zDP Definition Utilityがアップデートされ、MAX_RCと警告/エラー メッセージの重大度に基づいて最終的なリターン コードが設定されました。
                                               
PowerMaxシステムにデバイスが存在しない場合、QUERY出力のデバイス エントリーには「*」とマークされます。

原因

これは、ソフトウェアの問題が原因です。

解決方法

恒久対策： 
  • Mainframe Enablers 8.5では、PTF SF85107が 問題を修正するために開発されました。Dellオンライン サポートからダウンロードできます。
