The contact less smartcard reader of the Latitude 7320 Detachable is unable to read eID contactless smartcards (for example, national eID card issued by the German government, healthcare insurance cards using the AusweisApp2 which has been developed on behalf of the German government.)
The smartcards are detected but fail to read the data.
Multiple external smartcard readers from other vendors can read the cards.

Do not replace hardware for this issue.
To resolve this issue, download and install the Dell ControlVault3 Driver and Firmware v5.14.10.10, A26 or later.
