Removing the display bezel

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery

    2. base cover

    3. hard drive assembly

    4. WLAN card

    5. memory

    6. keyboard

    7. palmrest

    8. display cable

    9. system fan

    10. system board

    11. power connector port

    12. display assembly

  3. To remove the display bezel:
    1. Using a plastic scribe, release the display bezel from the bottom of the display assembly [1].
    2. Release the display bezel from its edges and remove the display bezel from the display assembly [2, 3, 4].
