Removing the speakers

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery

    2. base cover

    3. hard drive assembly

    4. keyboard

    5. palmrest

  3. To remove the speakers:
    1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board [1].
    2. Lift and remove the left speaker from the computer [2].
    3. Release the speaker cable from the routing channels.
    4. Lift and remove the right speaker from the computer [2].
