Installing the palm-rest and keyboard assembly
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
The following image indicates the palm-rest and keyboard assembly and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Place the palm-rest and keyboard assembly on a flat surface.
NOTE Antenna cables are a part of the display back-cover for computers shipping with WWAN configuration.
- Install the touchpad.
- Install the power-adapter port.
- Install the power button with fingerprint reader or power-button board, whichever applicable.
- Install the display assembly.
- Install the system board.
- Install the speakers.
- Install the WLAN card.
- Install the battery.
- Install the base cover.
- Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
