Determining Amazon charges for the Cyber Recovery solution

Amazon charges a monthly fee for the solution resources (such as services, VPN, and so on) that the Cyber Recovery deployment on Amazon Web Services (AWS) consumes.

Consider the following information when planning your AWS architecture:

Machine sizes are based on AWS and vendor recommendations.
Most of the data that is transferred in an AWS cloud occurs between the production DD system and the Cyber Recovery vault DD system being protected. Storage is a fixed cost that is based on consumption.

Cyber Recovery management host	SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12	The EC2 instance type is m5.xlarge.
DDVE compute	Dell PowerProtect DD Virtual Edition (DDVE)	The recommended EC2 instance type is m5.4xlarge, however you can select larger or smaller instance types based on your requirements.
DDVE storage	Amazon S3 pricing	AWS S3 Standard. Charges increase with increased consumption.
Jump host	CIS Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Benchmark - Level 2	The EC2 instance type is m5.large. CIS preconfigures this image of Windows Server 2019 to the recommendations in the associated CIS Benchmark.
VPN	AWS VPN pricing	N/A
Gateway endpoints (for example, S3)	Gateway VPC endpoints	There is no additional cost for using gateway endpoints.
Interface endpoints (for example, EC2)	AWS PrivateLink pricing	You are charged for each hour that your VPC endpoint remains provisioned in each Availability Zone, irrespective of the state of its association with the service.
AWS Simple Email Service (SES)	Amazon SES pricing	There is no charge for the first 62 K messages per month with an additional charge for every subsequent 1,000 messages.
