Production backup and recovery applications

The Cyber Recovery software supports DD integrations with the NetWorker, Avamar, and PowerProtect Data Manager applications.

Application Supported versions
Avamar
  • Version 19.3 and later
  • Single-node physical appliance or Avamar Virtual Edition (AVE)-only server (Avamar grids are not supported)
NOTE: Validated Avamar checkpoints are stored on the DD system.
NetWorker (on Linux only)
  • Version 19.3 and later
NOTE: The NetWorker server database and data devices are stored on the DD system.
PowerProtect Data Manager
  • Version 19.3 to Version 19.12
    NOTE: If you plan to usePowerProtect Data Manager for backup and recovery with Cyber Recovery Version 19.3 or later, update to PowerProtect Data Manager Version 19.3 or later. Otherwise, you cannot use PowerProtect Data Manager with the Cyber Recovery software.
  • DD OS must be Version 6.2.1.50 and later.
NOTE: The PowerProtect Data Manager server backups and policy data are stored on the DD system.
