Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery 19.14 Security Configuration Guide
Activate the license from CLI
After installing the Cyber Recovery software, activate the license from the CRCLI. A security officer or admin user can activate the license.
Prerequisites
To acquire a license, use the crcli license show command obtain the Software Instance ID.
Provide the Software Instance ID to Dell Technologies so that ELMS can generate a license file. Then, using the license file, activate your license through the CRCLI.
NOTE:You can also activate the license through the
Cyber Recovery UI and REST API.
Steps
- Log in to the Cyber Recovery CRCLI.

Type the following commands:
- crcli login --username crso
- crcli license add --location <path to license file>
- crcli license show
