Disk

The Disk page allows you to see and manage all disks within a node.

To view Disk, select Manage > Maintenance > rack_name > node_name.

Field Description
Disk Name of the disk
Slot Slot number of the disk
Serial # Serial number of the disk
NOTE After a disk is removed or goes missing, the status column will reflect it. However, the Serial # column continues to display the serial number of the disk, until the disk is replaced. The serial number of the new disk will be displayed, after the old disk is replaced.
Status Status of the disk
SSD Life Remaining The SSD Life Remaining column shows the amount of wear that is left on the disk. For a new disk, this column shows 100% and the green bar is full.
  • Standard Green (25% to 100%)
  • Lemon or Lime (15% to 24%)
  • Yellow or Orange (5% to 14%)
  • Red (0% to 4%)
Description The Description column shows a description of the disk status, reason of a disk replacement process failure, or instructions a user has to follow to start or complete replacement process.
Actions

When data recovery automatically competes for a failed disk, Action column will present Replace button for the target disk for the supported hardware.
