Change the IP address of the Microsoft Exchange Server host

Complete the following steps to change the IP address (static IP) of the Microsoft Exchange Server host.

Steps

  1. Unregister the Microsoft application agent from PowerProtect Data Manager by running unregister.bat.
  2. Configure the networks settings to change the IP address.
  3. Re-register the Microsoft application agent with PowerProtect Data Manager by running register.bat.
    NOTE: If the application agent IP address (static IP) is already changed on the host, then run unregister.bat followed by register.bat to register the host with the new IP address.
