Configuring USB management port using web interface
To configure
the USB port:
- In the iDRAC Web interface, go to .
- The USB Management Port is set to Enabled.
- From the iDRAC Managed: USB SCP Configuration
drop-down menu, select options to configure a server by importing
Server Configuration Profile files stored on a USB drive:
- Disabled
- Enabled only when server has default credential settings
- Enabled only for compressed configuration files
- Enabled
NOTE iDRAC9 allows you to password protect the compressed file after you select Enabled only for compressed configuration files to compress the file before importing. You can enter a password to secure the file by using Password for Zip file option. - Click Apply to apply the settings.
