Removing the speaker

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
    3. memory module
    4. hard drive assembly
    5. SSD card
    6. SSD with holder
    7. SSD frame
    8. WLAN card
    9. WWAN card (optional)
    10. chassis frame
  3. To remove the speakers:
    1. Peel the 3 pieces of adhesive tapes that secure the speaker cables [1] [2].
      Displays the removal of speaker
    2. Unroute the speaker cables from the routing channels.
    3. Lift the speaker away from the computer.
      Displays the removal of speaker
