Removing the power connector

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery
    2. hard drive
    3. optical drive
    4. base cover
    5. I/O board
    6. GPS board
    7. WLAN card
    8. WWAN card
    9. hard drive tray
    10. system board
  3. To remove the power connector:
    1. Peel the adhesive tape to access the power connector [1].
    2. Pull and lift the power connector away from the computer [2].
