Installing the system board

Steps

  1. Align and place the system board on the palmrest [1].
  2. Replace the five (M2x3) screws to secure the system board to the palmrest [2].

  3. Connect the eDP cable to the connector on the system board [1].
  4. Place the eDP support bracket above the eDP connector [2].
  5. Replace the two (M2x3) screws to secure the eDP bracket to the system board [3].

  6. Insert the dummy sim card into the sim card slot [1].
  7. Connect the following cables to the system board:
    1. LED board cable [2].
    2. USH FFC [3]
    3. Touchpad FFC [4].

  1. Replace the system fan.
  2. Replace the heatsink.
  3. Replace the inner frame.
  4. Replace the M.2 SSD.
  5. Replace the DC-in.
  6. Replace the coin cell battery.
  7. Replace the WLAN card.
