Removing display hinge
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the microSD card.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the battery.
- Remove the display assembly.
- Remove the display bezel.
- Remove the hinge caps.
Steps
- Remove the four (M2.5x3.5) screws that secure the display hinge to the display assembly [1].
- Remove the display hinges from the display back cover [2].
