Installing the 2.5–inch hard drive into the drive bracket

Steps

  1. To install the hard drive:
    1. Insert pins on one side of the bracket into the slots on one side of the hard drive.
    2. Pull the other side of the bracket to insert the pins into the slots on the other side of hard drive.
  2. Install the:
    1. 2.5-inch drive assembly
    2. bezel
    3. cover
  3. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
