Removing the coin cell battery

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the following components:
    1. Stand

    2. Back cover

    3. System board shield

  3. Press the tab on the coin cell battery socket until the coin cell battery pops up [1].
  4. Lift the coin cell battery out of the coin cell battery socket [2].Removing the heat sink
