Removing the display cable

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the following components:
    1. Stand

    2. Back cover

    3. Hard drive

    4. System board shield

    5. WLAN card

    6. System fan

    7. Camera

    8. Base cover

    9. PSU

    10. PSU fan

    11. I/O bracket

    12. System board

    13. Speakers

    14. Power button board

    15. Microphones

    16. I/O board

    17. Headset port

    18. Antennas

    19. Display panel

  3. To remove the display cable:
    1. To release the cable, press the tabs on both sides [1].
    2. Disconnect the cable, and lift it away from the display assembly base [2].display cable
