Removing the hard drive assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the following components:
   1. Stand
   2. Back cover
3. To remove the hard drive assembly:
   1. Press down the tab securing the hard drive assembly to the system board shield [1].
   2. Slide and lift the hard drive assembly from the slot on the display assembly base [2].
      
4. To remove the hard drive bracket:
   1. Pry the tabs on hard drive bracket from its slots on the hard drive [1].
   2. Slide the hard drive, and lift it away from the bracket [2].
