Removing the system fan cage
Steps
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the:
- To remove the system fan cage:
- Remove the two (#6-32x5) that secures the fan cage to the chassis [1].
- Slide the fan cage to the left until the retention clips disengage [2].
- Lift the fan cage away from the chassis.
