Removing the palm-rest and keyboard assembly

Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
Remove the base cover.
Remove the 3-cell battery or the 4-cell battery, whichever applicable.
Remove the coin-cell battery.
Remove the M.2 2230 solid-state drive.
Remove the M.2 2280 solid-state drive.
Remove the wireless card.
Remove the power-adapter port.
Remove the I/O board.
Remove the speakers.
Remove the touchpad.
Remove the fan.
Remove the display assembly.
Remove the power-button with optional fingerprint reader.
Remove the system board.
NOTE The system board can be removed with the heat sink and solid-state drives attached.
