Removing the battery
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the microSD card.
- Remove the base cover.
Steps
- Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board.
- Loosen the single captive screw that secures the battery to the palm rest assembly [1].
- Lift and slide the battery away from the palm rest assembly. [2].
