One of the earlier ideas on IdeaStorm suggested that Dell sell ink and toner supplies at retail outlets, to make it even more convenient for Dell printer customers to buy these items when and where they want to. We’ve been listening to your feedback, and today we announced that for the first time, customers can now buy Dell printers and ink at a brick and mortar store.
Staples will be the first retailer to sell Dell ink and toner supplies and a full imaging solution, and the 1,400 Staples stores in the U.S. will also begin selling select Dell consumer desktops and notebooks in November. Check out Lionel's post on Direct2Dell for more details. Thank you to the IdeaStorm community for your suggestions about making Dell’s retail strategy relevant, and beneficial, to you. We’ve announced retail agreements in many regions of the world over the past several months, and we hope to continue to hear from you about what you think Dell’s next steps should be as we continue our global retail expansion.
