Dell Technologies Japan Inc. announced that KDDI Corporation uses Dell PowerEdge servers for its 5G Open vRAN commercial deployment in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture.

KDDI has developed and started commercial deployment of 5G Open vRAN that implements an open interface compliant with the O-RAN standard.
