Symptoms

사용자는 SU(Storage Unit)를 삭제할 수 없으며 제대로 정리하지 않으면 SU가 어플라이언스에 남아 있습니다.

Attempting to delete the SU a second time will result in the following UI error:

500: Failed to connect to PowerProtect DD System. errorNum: 5075 errorMessage: the user has insufficient access rights

Cause

SU 삭제의 일환으로 원래 사용자는 내부적으로 생성된 사용자인 'PPDM-GEN-USER-FOR-DELETION'에 재할당됩니다. PowerProtect Data Manager가 원래 사용자를 제거할 수 있도록 DD 가비지 수집을 우회하는 데 필요합니다. 스토리지 유닛을 삭제하는 동안 DD API가 시간 초과되고 요청이 실패했습니다. 검색 작업이 실행 중일 때 DD가 사용 중인 것으로 확인되었습니다. 요청이 실패했기 때문에 PowerProtect Data Manager는 사용자를 실패한 원래 사용자로 되돌리려고 시도했으며 SU 사용자는 'PPDM-GEN-USER-FOR-DELETION'으로 남습니다. 되돌리기 사용자 작업이 예상대로 작동하지 않습니다.

Resolution

해상도:
PowerProtect Data Manager 19.15 및 DM5500 R4

해결 방법:
  1. SU가 내부 사용자 "PPDM-GEN-USER-FOR-DELETION"에 할당되었는지 확인합니다.
  2. CLI 명령에서 다음 명령을 실행하여 상태가 "D(삭제)"가 아니며 사용자가 PPDM-GEN-USER-FOR-DELETION에 할당되었는지 확인합니다. 
"ddboost storage-unit show su_name
첫 번째 조건이 충족되면 SU가 초기 삭제 요청 중에 모든 검증을 통과하여 이 단계로 이동했음을 의미합니다. 유효성 검사에는 "남은 복제본 없음, 연결된 정책 및 topLevelPath"가 비어 있는지 확인하는 작업이 포함됩니다. 따라서 삭제하는 것이 안전합니다.
  1.  CLI에서 다음 명령을 실행한 다음 다음 검색 일정을 기다립니다. 검색이 완료되면 스토리지 페이지에서 SU가 더 이상 표시되지 않는지 확인합니다.
