Symptoms

NetWorker VMware Protection 통합은 vProxy 어플라이언스로 구성됩니다.  VM(Virtual Machine) 이미지 레벨 백업이 타겟 Data Domain 디바이스에 대한 세션을 열지 못하고 있습니다.  백업 세션 로그에 다음이 표시됩니다.

YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR:  [NW_BUILD] UUID:VM_MOREF:VM_NAME: ddp_connect_with_config() failed, Hostname: DD_HOSTNAME, Err: 5037-Cannot resolve IP address from Host DD_HOSTNAME_FAILOVER for ip family 0
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR:  [NW_BUILD] UUID:VM_MOREF:VM_NAME: Unable to open session to target device "DD_HOSTNAME".

Cause

이 증상은 다음으로 인해 발생할 수 있습니다.
  • 타겟 Data Domain은 DNS를 확인할 수 없습니다.
  • vProxy와 Data Domain 간에 필요한 포트가 차단됩니다.

Resolution

다음을 수행합니다.
  1. SSH(admin)를 통해 vProxy에 로그인하고 Data Domain이 DNS 확인 가능한지 확인합니다. FQDN, 단축 이름 및 IP 주소가 모두 올바르게 응답해야 합니다. 
    1. nslookup DataDomain_FQDN
    2. nslookup DataDomain_ShortName
    3. nslookup DataDomain_IPaddress
  1. DNS를 통해 Data Domain을 확인할 수 없거나 오류가 표시되는 경우 data Domain용 vProxy에 /etc/hosts 파일 항목을 추가 DD_HOSTNAME_FAILOVER.
참고: 이름은 NetWorker에 구성된 Data Domain 리소스의 구문과 일치해야 합니다. 페일오버 별칭은 동일한 줄(예: 
10.0.0.10           DataDomain01.domain.com       DataDomain01      DataDomain01-failover.domain.com
  1. vProxy가 다음 포트에서 Data Domain에 연결할 수 있는지 확인하여 응답하지 않는 포트를 해결합니다. 22, 111, 131, 161, 2049, 2052
