Symptoms

NetWorker VMware 保护集成配置了 vProxy Appliance。  虚拟机 （VM） 映像级备份无法打开与目标 Data Domain 设备的会话。  备份会话日志显示：

YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR:  [NW_BUILD] UUID:VM_MOREF:VM_NAME: ddp_connect_with_config() failed, Hostname: DD_HOSTNAME, Err: 5037-Cannot resolve IP address from Host DD_HOSTNAME_FAILOVER for ip family 0
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS ERROR:  [NW_BUILD] UUID:VM_MOREF:VM_NAME: Unable to open session to target device "DD_HOSTNAME".

Cause

此症状可能是由于以下原因导致的：
  • 目标 Data Domain 不可解析。
  • vProxy 和 Data Domain 之间的所需端口被阻止。

Resolution

执行以下操作：
  1. 通过 SSH （admin） 登录 vProxy 并确认 Data Domain 是否可解析。FQDN、短名称和 IP 地址均应正确响应： 
    1. nslookup DataDomain_FQDN
    2. nslookup DataDomain_ShortName
    3. nslookup DataDomain_IPaddress
  1. 如果 Data Domain 无法通过 DNS 解析和/或错误也显示DD_HOSTNAME_FAILOVER在 vProxy 上为 Data Domain 添加 /etc/hosts 文件条目：
注： 名称应与 NetWorker 中配置的 Data Domain 资源的语法相匹配。故障切换别名可以附加到同一行，例如： 
10.0.0.10           DataDomain01.domain.com       DataDomain01      DataDomain01-failover.domain.com
  1. 确认 vProxy 可以通过以下端口访问 Data Domain，从而解决任何无法响应的端口：22, 111, 131, 161, 2049, 2052
