Instructions

  1. Log in to OneFS Web UI as root

  1. Follow the path OneFS > Data Protection > NDMP > NDMP settings

OneFS_NDMP_SETTINGS_OFF
  1. Complete NDMP settings including the following:
    1. Enable NDMP service box is checked.
    2. Port Number is set to 10000
    3. DMA vendor is set to Generic
    4. NDMP administrator is set to administrator to NDMP and add a password
If there is no NDMP administrator user created, create one. If Isilon is a new installation, the NDMP settings page looks like the screenshot below:

  1. Create or change the NDMP user password using the OneFS Web UI:

  1. Alternately, create or change the NDMP user password using the Isilon CLI:

  1. Verify the NDMP settings:

Verify NDMP settings using the Isilon CLI:
