Dell sells WWAN customer kits that allow for out of warranty replacement of failed WWAN cards. If you need assistance purchasing one of these kits, then please contact your sales or account team.
This article provides the instructions on how to enable these WWAN cards.
Although the cards are sold in a customer kit, they must be enabled in a supported computer before the card functions.
NOTE: WWAN kits, by design, only functions in computers that had WWAN cards that are installed and enabled from the factory. Government regulations prohibit the installation of these devices into computers that were not configured for WWAN functionality when manufactured.
