Symptoms

DNS 검사에서 RUCK 툴이 실패하고 다음 오류가 표시됩니다.

[ERROR] The hostname set for components xxx on their respective VMs are different than the ones resolved from the DNS. Ensure that the hostnames are set correctly for all components and try again.

Cause

이 오류는 DNS의 구성 요소 호스트 이름이 구성 요소에 설정된 호스트 이름과 일치하지 않는 경우에 발생할 수 있습니다. 한 가지 가능한 원인은 배포 후 DNS의 변경입니다.

Resolution

참고: RUCK 도구는 파일에서 DNS 서버를 가져옵니다. /usr/local/dataprotection/var/configmgr/server_data/config/commonconfig.xml에 관한 자세한 내용을 참조하십시오. commonconfig.xml에 언급된 운영 및 보조 DNS 서버는 RUCK 툴이 모든 Integrated Data Protection Appliance 구성 요소에 대한 조회를 실행하는 데 사용하는 서버입니다. 사용자는 commonconfig.xml 파일에 올바른 DNS 서버 IP 주소가 있는지 확인해야 합니다.

그런 다음 ACM에서 다음 명령을 실행합니다. 
./goidpa appliance hostname


만일 hostname check failure 일부 구성 요소에서 문제가 발견되면 장애가 발생한 구성 요소에 대해 다음 단계를 수행합니다.

  1. ACM에서 아래 명령을 사용하여 DNS가 구성 요소 IP를 올바른 도메인으로 확인하는지 확인합니다.
host -W 10 -T <component IP> <DNS IP>

<Note: DNS can be found in /etc/resolv.conf>
  1. 각 구성 요소에서 다음 명령을 사용하여 호스트 이름을 가져옵니다.
hostname -f (for all components except Protection Storage/Data Domain and Hypervisor Manager/vCenter)
hostname.get (for Hypervisor Manager/vCenter)
hostname (for Protection Storage/Data Domain)
  1. 두 호스트 이름을 비교합니다. 동일해야 합니다. 그렇지 않은 경우 해당 DNS 서버에서 호스트 이름 항목을 수정하고 계속 진행합니다.
참고: 호스트 이름이 동일하지만 DNS의 호스트 이름 항목과 구성 요소에 설정된 호스트 이름 사이에 대/소문자 차이가 있는 경우 Dell 기술 지원 부서에 문의하여 이 문서 ID를 언급하십시오.
