Dell Security Management Server Virtual Administration Console May be Inaccessible After an Upgrading to v11.6
Summary: When upgrading to Dell Security Management Server Virtual v11.6, it is possible to encounter an issue that prevents access to the Administration Console.

Cause
The installation of an incompatible version of psutil during the upgrade process is the cause of this issue.
Resolution
A manual install of the compatible version of psutil is required to resolve this issue.
To install the compatible version of psutil:
- Log in to the Dell Security Management Server Virtual administration console using the
dellsupportuser.

- Username:
- An administrator can change the default password within the product’s virtual appliance menu.
- Type
sudo pip install psutil==5.9.1and press Enter.

psutil 5.9.1appears.

sudo rebootand press Enter.

delluseruser.
