Symptoms

The following warning message appears in the NetWorker Management Console (NMC)

Configure MailHome/SCG feature under Server - Usage Analytics - Properties.

 

Cause

The warning is due to EMC Secure Remote Services (ESRS) is now deprecated.

 

Resolution

Install the Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) virtual edition 5.12 or later from the https://www.dell.com/support/home/product-support/product/secure-connect-gateway-ve/drivers and configure NetWorker to communicate with the SCG appliance.
