How to Onboard a Microsoft Tenant Domain

Note: A Microsoft tenant domain is required to purchase Microsoft subscriptions from Dell.
Customers receive an email from account_notification@dell.com with a request to add or create your Microsoft tenant domain. Click Set up your tenant domain to proceed.

Note:
- The Customer Number is a key component to ensure you are associating your Microsoft tenant domain with your organization’s preferred Dell Customer Number.
- The Premier Store field in the image is only applicable if you have a Dell Premier store account.
- Sign In to your Dell My Account or Premier
- Sign In with your user credentials and go to Software & Subscriptions > Subscription Settings > Add Tenant Domain

- Sign In with your user credentials and go to Software & Subscriptions > Subscription Settings > Add Tenant Domain
- Select Tenant Domain Type
- Select Create New Tenant Domain or Add Existing Tenant Domain
Note:- Select Create New if your organization does not have a Microsoft Tenant Domain.
- Add Existing Tenant should be selected to associate your organization’s existing Microsoft Tenant to Dell.
- Select Create New Tenant Domain or Add Existing Tenant Domain
Create New Tenant Domain:
- Select Create New Tenant Domain

- Enter your organization’s preferred new Microsoft tenant domain (use format: PreferredName.onmicrosoft.com)
Note: By clicking Enter Domain. Check to see if Domain is available herein Step 2, you can verify if the tenant domain is available from Microsoft prior to submitting the request.

- Enter the Administrator Information for the Microsoft tenant domain.

- Enter the Customer Number from the invitation email and Search to select the billing and company address.

Note: The Dell Customer Number associated to the Microsoft tenant domain is a 1:1 relationship and cannot be updated after subscriptions are purchased. Only one Dell Customer Number can be associated to a Microsoft tenant domain. - Review and accept the Terms and Conditions.

- Click Add Tenant Domain.

- View the newly created Microsoft Tenant in MyAccount or Premier, go to Software & Subscriptions > Subscription Settings

- Customer receives email confirmation of the newly created Microsoft tenant domain.

- Sign In to the Microsoft 365 Admin portal with the Administrator User Name provided and follow the steps to reset password to authenticate your account.
Add Existing Tenant Domain
- Click to select Add Existing Tenant Domain

- Enter your organization’s existing Microsoft Tenant Domain and Tenant ID.
Note:- Enter the Primary Domain listed in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. The primary domain may not be the onmicrosoft.com domain aligned to the account. To learn more, reference How do I set or change the default domain in Microsoft 365?
- A Microsoft Global Admin must accept Dell as a reseller
to your organization’s existing Microsoft tenant domain before you can complete the setup.
- Enter the Primary Domain listed in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. The primary domain may not be the onmicrosoft.com domain aligned to the account. To learn more, reference How do I set or change the default domain in Microsoft 365?
- Enter the Administrator Information to associate to the Microsoft tenant domain.

- Enter the Customer Number from the invitation email and Search to select the billing and company address.

- Click Add Tenant Domain.

- View your existing Microsoft Tenant in MyAccount or Premier, go to Software & Subscriptions > Subscription Settings< br />

- Customer receives an email confirmation that the organization’s existing Microsoft tenant domain is active in the Dell My Account or Premier portal.
