You may see a message on-screen when your Latitude or Precision laptop passes the Power-On Self-Test (POST) and enters the Dell splash screen. The following message is displayed:

The message is only for use with compatible products.
- It uses the 12th generation Intel Alder-Lake (ADL) Central Processor Unit (CPU) or better
- It has a discrete Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
- It uses Secure Boot Support
- It uses verified boot (Also known as: Boot Guard)
- You can set a BIOS Password
- You can use BIOS Recovery
- It follows the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-147 (Authenticated Updates)
- It uses Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Measured Boot
